The Doctors
Dr. Viki Resler, B.S., D.C., CCSP
Doctor of ChiropracticDr. Viki Resler has three beautiful children: Tyson (11), Cadee (10), and Trevor (5). She and her family are native northwest Oklahomans. Her father, Paul grew up in Cherokee and her mother, Suzanne grew up in Alva. All three attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Dr. Viki went on to attend chiropractic college at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. Dr. Viki comes from a family that believes in education. Her father has his PhD in education and her mother has her masters degree in education. Her sister, Trina is "all but thesis" on her doctorate in education as well. Three Dr. Reslers in one family!
Dr. Resler believes strongly in the ability of the body to heal itself when all interference is removed. This is the basis of chiropractic philosophy. Given the opportunity, the human body works toward balance and health. Opportunity comes through positive thinking, proper nutrition, exercise that is fun and chiropractic care!
Dr. Viki practices hands on chiropractic care along with gentle instrument techniques. She also provides acupuncture and allergy elimination to her patients. Dr. Viki is also a certified chiropractic sports physician. She has completed a full year in additional studies in sports injuries and fitness as well as taken a test certifying that she payed attention in class! Along the sports line, Dr. Viki has also become a Stott Certified instructor in Pilates. We use the Stott Pilates philosophy and equipment for both rehabilitative exercise as well as in private and class exercise sessions. Look for us to have a full Pilates studio soon!
Dr. Viki Resler is also the FIRST FEMALE Chiropractor ever to be appointed by the governor to the Oklahoma Board of Chiropractic Examiners. This can surely be attributed to growing up with parents who assured her constantly that she could do and be anything!
Dr. Robert Breckenridge, DO.
Dr. of Osteopathic Medicine
Dr. Robert Breckenridge is a doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He started his education at undergrad school at Texas Tech, where he majored in music. He taught music for five years, before realizing his love for Osteopathic Medicine. He enrolled at the University of Texas, in Arlington, for pre-med. He, later, transferred to Texas College, in Fort Worth, for med-school. While there, he studied Osteopathic Medicine. His internship and residency was at the Osteopathic Medical Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Breckenridge heard of an opening at Enid Memorial Hospital for a Medical Director, where he took the position and stayed for three years. He, then, came to know Dr. Viki Resler by inquiring her help for some patients. He then joined The Chiropractic Center. They both believed that you can heal without using addictive drugs.
Dr. Breckenridge has three amazing kids and a wife, Mary Ann, of 28 years. He is enjoying his new found life in Enid, Oklahoma, where he can have his private practice.
